Privacy Policy

Syster is a small business run by one person, selling printable and print-on-demand designs. This policy covers the Syster website, shop, and our social media presence on Facebook and Instagram (including the tools we use to manage them).
What we collect and why
- Shop orders. When you buy something, we receive the details needed to deliver it: your email address and what you ordered. Digital files are delivered by a download link sent to that email.
- Social media interactions. If you comment a keyword on one of our Instagram or Facebook posts that offers a link (for example “comment RESET and we will send you the link”), we process that comment (its text, your username, and the comment's identifier) solely to send you the link you asked for by direct message. We keep a record of having sent it so you are never messaged twice for the same comment. We do not read your other messages, your follower lists, or your profile details.
- Emailed copies of your prompt. If you ask us to email you a copy of a prompt, we keep your email address and which prompt it was, only to send it. If you also tick “tell me when there’s a new add-on that fits”, we may send you one short email when a new add-on matches what you picked, with a link to stop. We never send a newsletter and never share your address.
- Link analytics. Links we share are shortened (via Bitly) and we see aggregate click counts. These counts are not tied to your identity.
- Website analytics. This site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use it, under Microsoft's privacy statement.
The Brain Dump prompts
The prompts build a system inside your own Notion account. What you put into that system stays there. It never comes to us and we never see it.
To build your prompt, the questions on this site ask you a few things. Some are multiple choice, some are a box you type into. The answers are used to write your prompt and are not kept, with one exception.
If you tick the optional box before your prompt is built, the multiple choice answers you picked are kept, so the prompts can be made better for the next person. That means only the options you chose off a list. It never includes anything you typed, your name, or your email.
Where we have your email address, it is turned into a code before anything is stored, using a secret that only our database holds. The code is what gets kept, not your address, and it cannot be turned back into your address by us or by anybody else. It lets us see that the same person answered two different sets of questions, which is what makes the answers useful. We are calling that what it is rather than calling it anonymous.
Because that code can be worked out again from your email address, we can find and delete everything belonging to you if you ask. See Data deletion below.
Leaving the box unticked keeps nothing at all, and your prompt is exactly the same either way. Nothing kept this way is ever sold or shared, and it is not used to train any AI model. Some modules do not offer the box at all, because their questions sit in a context where even a multiple choice answer is nobody else's business.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your personal information with anyone for marketing.
- We don't send unsolicited direct messages, only replies to a comment that asked for a link.
- We don't use your data to train AI models or build advertising profiles.
Where data lives
Our systems run on Shopify (shop), Netlify (websites), Supabase (order delivery and business tools), Bitly (short links) and Meta's platforms (Facebook and Instagram). Each processes data under its own privacy terms.
Data deletion
To have anything we hold about you deleted (an order record, a logged comment interaction, answers you let us keep, anything else) email contact@syster.info from the account involved and it will be removed within 14 days. This is also the contact for any questions about this policy.
