Nothing in your old place is changed. Everything is copied in, never moved. Your old notes, chats and lists stay exactly where they are until you decide what to do with them, so there is nothing to lose by starting.

Claude only reads what you point it at, connect or paste in yourself. It never logs in to anything for you, and it never brings across passwords, codes, account numbers or ID numbers, even if they are sitting in your old notes.
