Personal Playbook add-on

Is it true? Free

Check what you see and hear, with the sources and the working shown

For
Anyone who sees a post, a health claim or a news story and wants to know what is real without spending an hour working it out
You get
A check you can run on anything you paste or screenshot, a plain verdict with the sources it came from, a record of what you have already checked, and a short list of places worth looking first
Takes
About 20 minutes to set up, then a few minutes for each check
Needs first
The free setup done, and web search switched on in Claude.

You see the working, not just an answer. Every check traces the claim back to where it first came from, looks at who is behind each source, and shows how much each one counts for, from the original study or official data down to someone's say so. Every source comes with its link so you can open it yourself.

The verdict is always one of six plain answers: supported, partly true, missing context, not supported, false, or can't tell yet. "Can't tell yet" is a real answer, because a confident wrong one is worse than none.

For health claims it shows how strong the evidence really is: tested in people or only in a lab, how many people, how big the effect, and who paid for the research. Not studied is not the same as doesn't work, and it says which. It never tells you to start or stop anything. That is a question for your doctor or pharmacist.

For news and politics it checks the facts and leaves the opinions to you. Every side gets checked the same way, and it never tells you how to vote.

It never makes anyone feel silly for asking, including whoever sent it to you. If you want to reply to them, it can draft something kind for you to send yourself.
