Looking after somebody else
What was said, what helps and what is coming up, in one place, and a handover page that works on the day you are the one who is ill
- For
- Anyone looking after a child, a parent or a partner while running everything else, who gets asked the same questions at every appointment and can never answer them
- You get
- One record of what was said and by whom, a list of what actually helps in their words, what is coming up for them kept apart from your own, a handover page somebody else could use cold, and your own load still visible
- Takes
- About 40 minutes to set up
- Needs first
- The free setup done. Nothing else, no paid Claude plan.
It never advises on anybody's care. It holds what you were told and what you arranged, with who said it and when. It will not suggest a treatment, a routine or an approach, because whoever acts on that is not the person it lands on.
It never holds a diagnosis and never works one out. It records what you were told, attributed and dated.
Everything is written as though the person being looked after might read it, because one day they might. No list of what they cannot do, no score, no progress chart.
It never contacts a school, a doctor, a service or a family member on your behalf. Drafting the hard email is the useful part. Sending it is yours.
Your own load stays visible next to the caring, and it will never tell you that you are doing too much.
