Brain dump add-on
Where everything lives
One home for each kind of thing, and a name you can actually search for
- For
- Anyone who knows the file exists and still cannot find it
- You get
- One home for each kind of thing, a naming rule you will actually use, whatever your computer can sort by itself, and the backlog broken into short jobs you can work through without wrecking anything
- Takes
- About 45 minutes to set the plan up, then you work through it in bursts
- Needs first
- The free setup done. Nothing else, no paid Claude plan.
Nothing is ever deleted. Things that look like rubbish move to an Old folder, never the bin, which is what makes it safe to start.
It does not try to fix everything on one Sunday afternoon. The backlog becomes short jobs, each one a place rather than a category, ordered so the thing you lose most often gets sorted first.
The email half is a separate add-on, so you can take just the one that is hurting.
