The free setup done. Nothing else, no paid Claude plan.

Most systems for work assume the work is yours. If you are employed or contracting, it is not. The tools belong to the company, you log in with their email, you cannot reshape any of it, and the day you leave it all goes. This is for the half that is yours.

Nothing gets built inside your employer’s workspace. It checks which account you are signed into before it builds anything, because a second brain in a company account belongs to the company, can be read by the company, and disappears with the job.

Their tools get read, never reshaped. Connecting Smartsheet or Jira or a shared drive so you can see your work alongside everything else is the point. Renaming something in it, adding a field, or tidying it up is somebody else’s Monday morning, so it never happens.

There is a home for work that is done enough to lose and not done enough to hand over, with a reason attached. Waiting on an answer, needs checking, and not good enough yet are three different things, and only one of them is about you.

What you work out goes on the list you already have, with the job marked on it. Fifteen years across a dozen places is one body of knowledge, not twelve, and the job is a field on the entry rather than a wall around it.

It records what happened at work, with dates and in your words. It will never advise you on a contract, a dispute, a resignation or your pay. If it is that kind of situation it says once that it is worth talking to your union or an employment lawyer, and then gets back to what you asked for.
